Disston No 12 Ship Point Crosscut Saw 10ppi -- Freshly Sharpened

This is a very nice Disston No 12 Ship Point saw. Rarely seen, the plate on this model is more slender than the standard No 12, allowing it to be used in tight quarters.

The 26 inch plate has some staining, but no major pitting. The etch is bold and is easily read. The top horn on the handle was repaired and was refinished by a previous owner. The name of an even earlier owner appears on the opposite side of the handle.

The 10ppi crosscut teeth have been freshly sharpened:
