Disston D-8 Thumbhole Rip Saw 5 1/2ppi -- Freshly Sharpened

Someone bought this saw in the 1940s and never used it. It collected some dust and rust, but had never been sharpened before. This Disston D-8 Thumbhole rip saw has a full-height plate and a solid handle, with no chips or cracks. The plate has a few dark spots, though nothing that will affect performance or longevity.

The 5 1/2ppi rip teeth have been freshly sharpened:
