Here is a nice Stanley No 6C Type 5 that was produced in the 1885-1888 timeframe. It has all of the correct components for this vintage, except for the iron which is a few years newer (1892). There is some loss of Japanning on the body, though the body itself is in good condition with no cracks or major pitting. A previous owner's initials are stamped into one cheek. The rosewood tote was refinished by a previous owner. The rosewood knob is in excellent condition.
