Atkins No 400 Crosscut 10ppi ROSEWOOD HANDLE -- Freshly Sharpened
The No 400 is the top-of-the-line Atkins, with a highly tempered, polished plate and beautiful rosewood handle. This particular saw was made in the late 1940s, towards the end of production of this model.
The blade is clean and straight, though as with most Atkins saws the etch is very faint. The rosewood handle has some wear and scratches in the finish, but is otherwise free of cracks and chips. The fine crosscut teeth have been freshly sharpened with the following specifications:
Tooth Type: crosscut
Rake Angle: 15º
Fleam Angle: 20º
Slope Angle: 0º
Tooth Set: 0.005"
