Disston 5x30 Mitre Box Saw 11ppi -- Freshly Sharpened
These big mitre box saws are hard to find. This 1940s Disston has a blade that measures 5 inches tall by 30 inches long. It has been cleaned and polished. The 11 ppi teeth have been sharpened with an ultra-keen edge to cleanly shear wood fibers. The quartersawn beech handle has no cracks or chips. It was refinished with a hand-burnished Tung oil finish.
This saw is ideal for the Millers Falls No 75 mitre box and will also work well in the No 74, 1074, and a few others. The Stanley No 358 is also well-suited for this saw size.
