Here is a nice example of Woodrough & McParlin's No 7 backsaw in a 12 inch length. The nose on the beech handle is one of the distinctive features of this brand. It is in excellent condition with a few rough spots on the blade. A chip in the top horn was repaired with a patch of vintage beech harvested from an old wooden plane. The finish was blended to match the rest of the handle.
