This Geo H Bishop 20 inch panel saw was made in Lawrenceburg, IN sometime between 1899 and 1920 when the company was purchased by Ohlen Corporation. From the styling of the handle, it was likely earlier in this time period. Later handles were more blocky as the company tried to save money.
This saw is about as clean as they come. Other than for a quarter-sized patch of very light pitting under the handle, the blade on this saw is flawless. The etch is super bold and fully readable. The apple handle has a couple of minor blemishes, but no cracks or chips.
